Question involving That 70's Show and CSI:Miami!?

Does anyone else think that Danny Masterson (Hyde) from That 70's Show acts kinda the same as Rory Cochrane (Tim "Speed" Speedle) on CSI:Miami? I am not inferring that he copies after him or that they are the same kind of character, but that they are similar in personality.
