Why are Republicans trying to screw over the working and middle cl?

i hate to say, but they are doing it because they are smart and they know how to. when America is full of idiots who will believe anything that you tell them, people are going to take advantage of that. you have a group of rich Republicans, who know that all of the people who are going to vote for them are watching the same station for news, Fox, they know that they can just say a few things and incite fear and hate.. fear and hate are hard to overcome. its pretty simple, the Republicans want the rich to get richer and more powerful, and they are using the most gullible Americans they can find to help them do it.. (many of them are on Yahoo Answers). i think if somebody votes Republican, they should be required to go back to school.
