I have a question about insurance from my employer, was recently laid off back on March 1, New York resident,?

to know if anyone has any good options for healthcare for an unemployed New Yorker. I am on a medication that is about 376 without health insurance coverage. I am not concerned about doctor visits being covered because I pay him cash anyway and its only 100 per visit. I have been unemployed since Feb 27, do you think I could still use it, I have an appointment on Friday. Also is there any state/fed insurance anyone knows of that I could get. I live alone am 25 years old, male, and I am about to break down i am not from this state. My family is no help to me at all because they dont really talk to me anymore, since I brought up something that happened far in the past. But without the meds, I will pretty much die in 2 months, I dont want to talk about the illness. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it. Thank you so much.
