Pitting bias against gullibility: Suppose I answered a question and then brought in 30 or so avatars...?

... to give myself a bunch of thumbs-up. Would biased and gullible religious fanatics who asked the question be more willing to choose my answer because they think that it's 'the best' even if it countered their biases?
