What if my husband annoys me during labor?

I know you want your husband in the delivery room with you. Most women do. First of all, tell him that there is no way if your doctor okays a VBAC, that you are willing to have another c section unless it is medically necessary. Tell him that is what you want, and stand firm. Also MAKE sure your doctor knows, so he can't claim otherwise. If he gets to bad, to annoying per say in the delivery room and he is stressing you out, have him leave. That sounds horrible, but if he is putting stress on you, he shouldn't be there, because putting stress on you puts stress on the baby. If he is going to jump at every little wince in pain that you go through in delivery, then it would probably be best for him to not see it, because as you know, you go through a lot more then just little bits of pain when delivering, and it's noticable, you're not going to try to hide it. Even if he insists that he can be calm and he is in the room with you and he starts to panic or whatnot, tell a nurse to remove him and they will.
