Okay, so I'm using Rosetta Stone to learn Japanese, and the grammar structure of one sentence is confusing me. The sentence is "goshujin wa okusan ni kisushite imasu". I understand that it means "the husband is kissing the wife". My question is, why does this sentence not read "goshujin wa okusan wo kisute imasu"? In the past I have always used "-te imasu", not "-shite imasu" to conjugate present tense verbs. Also, I thought the particle for the object of a sentence was "wo" or "o" (I suppose I"m also unclear on the difference between these two particles, I would like that clarified also.)

I recently went into my bank to ask about lowering my interest rate, and they said there was nothing they could do. They did, however, say that I could open up a new credit card and do a balance transfer with 0% interest for 6 months. I declined the offer, but the woman helping me opened one up in my name anyway. I never signed anything, and never gave authorization. She also linked the new credit card to my bank account. Is this even legal? Army awol/deserter?

Cisco clean access agent?

My Cisco Clean Access Agent will only give me limited access. It says I need to download pr_XP_Hotfixes and to get it I need run windows update. I have done this and it didn't work. On cisco it has a "download" and "Continue" on but I can't click on them. Everything on my computer is updated except this. I can't find where to download it anywhere. First, i would never feed my dog cat food. But i am just curious.... If feeding high protein diet with meat as the main/only ingredients is best, why is it bad for a dog to eat cat food? Other than the the fact that it may have additives/preservatives/dyes etc. and is cooked (so therefore not as healthy as a raw diet), I have heard that it is too high in protien which can cause kidney failure. So if feeding a meat only diet is best, why is the protein in cat food bad? Wouldn't it be better to feed cat food then dog food as it would have the extra protein the dogs need? What to do when my stepson wont listen and dad wont step in?

I have a 7 year old stepson that has been babied most of his life because his parents were never married. He comes to visit on his weekends and stays part of the time with us and then with his grandma. The kid has figured out that if he bugs you enough or cries he WILL get what he wants. I tried to explain that as he gets older he wont be able to deal with his feelings because of this but no one will listen. I'm not angry towards the child of course but he needs to realize that crying doesn't get you what you want. We were told by his mom that he could get a puppy. We got him a very smart puppy that was almost completely potty trained as soon as he got here because he pestered us to death about it and cried. I would have made him wait a day or two so he would realize we are getting one but that's is not how you get what you want. He took care of the pup in his room and would wake me up if he did need to go out at night. We were so proud. Then he went to his grandma's house and she did everything for him and would put the pup up most of the day so he wouldn't have to play with it. When he came back to our house he wanted me to do it all for him. I wouldn't do it. His father was in bed sleeping and he works a lot so I couldn't wake him. The kid started crying like crazy because he didn't want to deal with the puppy. I told him to go to bed that he was overtired and we would talk about it tomorrow. So I took care of the pup. The next day he doesn't want to take it outside to play because there is no couch outside. I made him take care of him anyway and explained its a live creature not a game you can turn off and if he wasn't ready for all the responsibility he needed to tell us and it would be okay to make that decission. We encourage him to talk and make decissions. So we got the puppy a home the next day. Then He starts on wanting a Jack Russel or a monkey. I explained that pup would be the same as the one he gave up and that a monkey is more responsibility and cost like a lot of money. He said so, that his grandma could buy it then. I just told him that it wasn't right to ask that of her and why. Am I explaining things okay. His dad wont stand up to him and tell him no pets right now because he doesn't want to take care of it. His dad says maybe we would get him a smaller pet to take when he goes back home because then we wouldn't have to deal with it. Any suggestions? This child will not learn to cope and deal with feelings. He doesn't like to get up and do anything for himself. He thinks you are supposed to do it for him. I cant get his grandma to listen either. For you gas RC truck people- my Traxxas 2.5 & 3.3 engines wont start?

ive got 2 clic 2.5 tmaxxes- mine has a 3.3 and my dads has the 2.5 engine in it. i just rebuilt both our trucks(due to servo failer etc). My problem is that neither one will start. Before we stored them bout 9 months ago they both ran great. Ive checked everything I can think of- cleaned the carbs, reset all the needles, both have good compresion, ez start turns both engines, glow plugs have good ground and will light(using new plugs), fuel is reaching the carbs, air filters are clean, using fresh 20% traxxas fuel, the engines were reembled clean and exactly the way they are sop posed to be. My dads had a decent amount of corrosion inside (I cleaned the corrosion off with fine steel wool and WD40) some how his didnt get cleaned very good after we ran them :confused: . allso recently when i took his engine apart, i found that half of the bottom of his piston is broke off(i think it was running like that).The guy that had the truck before us destroyed the top of the 2.5 that is in my dad's truck- so he put a new head and piston/sleave in it (which havent been run much after break in) My engine has had only about 10 tanks of fuel run through it. Lastly, we hooked a 6 volt battery charger up to the black ez start handheld thing so we dont have to worry about batteries. Is there anything i'm doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My budgie has layed and egg?

i have 2 females and a a male budgie and one of my females and my male hang out a lot. I found a egg in the corner of the cage today and i created a nest box for them and lifted the egg gently into it just once. My male and female have been chirping quite loudly to each other and I've been trying to get my female to sit on the egg.She occasionally goes near it but she won't touch it. I've put some lettuce inside the box, shes gone to eat it but she still won't touch the egg. Will we have to wait for her to lay a whole hutch until she sits on the egg? And is it okay that I've touched the egg just once because the mother is only about a year old and doesn't seem to be angry. My left temple felt a little sore to the touch so I rubbed it lightly only to notice a very odd squishy sensation deep under the skin. I had a friend who 4.0 GPA took Calc III his senior year in High School, 34 on the ACT, perfect scores on the Math II and Physics SAT did about 10 extra-curricular activities volunteered 8 hours a week every week he was in high school, played Tuba in a national competing level marching band and still didn't get into MIT. So yeah that's an amazing resume but its not unheard of to still be rejected.

Recording shows from dvr to dvd?

I just went to buy a DVD recorder at Best Buy for the sole purpose of recording from my DVR to DVD's so that I can share with my mom shows she does not get. The guy at best buy said that the new generation dvd recorders are all encoded and send a block signal and although you would have no problem recording onto the dvr, recording to dvd's has become very difficult. Does anyone out there know about this or have a NEW dvd recorder that works just fine and is able to record from their DVR with no issues? I ume this is all an attempt to get consumers to buy the dvds of shows as opposed to recording them. I dont want to waste money on a recorder that wont record the shows off the tv or the dvr. thanks
